At a conference dominated by software and AI, ADI stood out for a simple reason: we brought hardware to life, and took AI to Physical Intelligence. Our booth wasn’t just slides or messaging, it was working demos & systems attendees could see, interact with, and ask questions about. That difference mattered. It consistently drew a crowd, often with multiple conversations happening at once.
What surprised us most wasn’t just the volume of interest; it was the nature of the reaction. Many attendees didn’t know Analog Devices at all. Others recognized the name but only as a hardware manufacturer. But once they engaged, the conversation changed. Developers were curious, excited, and often surprised to see Python applied into real-world systems.
That curiosity exposed something important. There’s a growing segment of the Python community that wants to work with hardware - not at the component level, but at the application level. They want to build systems. They want data, sensors, and AI to come together, but they need simpler, more accessible ways to get started.
This is where our presence resonated. The demos were effective because they made that connection visible. They made abstract ideas tangible.
The takeaway is straightforward - PyCon wasn’t just a successful event, it was validation! There is real interest in what ADI can offer the Python community. There is space for us to grow. And importantly, there is a clear opportunity to help developers move from software into real-world systems in a way that feels natural and accessible.
We’ll definitely be back - but stronger!
