From Odense to the Edge: Physical Intelligence in Practice at NextGen Robotics LIVE
The center of the robotics world shifts to Odense, Denmark and the NextGen Robotics LIVE event. ADI's team will be there.

Next week in Odense, Denmark, the heart of one of Europe’s most vibrant robotics ecosystems, industry leaders will gather for NextGen Robotics LIVE. The event will bring together technology innovators, hardware and software providers, and decision‑makers to explore and shape what’s next in robotics. The event’s mix of keynotes, panels, and technical tracks reflects a simple truth: robotics progress is no longer just about better algorithms. It’s about getting intelligence to work reliably in the real world, under real constraints.
That emphasis is deeply aligned with the mission of Odense Robotics, Denmark’s national cluster for robotics, automation, and drones. The organization connects companies, researchers, investors, government, and end users, establishing collaborations addressing concrete use cases. The focus is on adoption in the real world. This emphasis aligns well with what Analog Devices, Inc. (ADI) defines as Physical Intelligence, where understanding and acting within the constraints of physics is the defining capability. As AI moves from cloud reasoning to real‑world deployment, the “hard problems” shift dramatically: millisecond decisions, imperfect sensing, physical constraints, safety, and human collaboration become the gating factors for scale. And an event like NextGen Robotics Live helps form the bridges, bringing AI from the abstract into systems that will live around us.
At NextGen Robotics LIVE, I will participate in a panel taking place at 11:50am CEST titled “From Edge Intelligence to Scalable Automation, Discover Breakthroughs Driving Next-Generation Robotics Powered by Advanced AI and Computing Technologies”.
Here are some of the themes we’ll look to tackle:
1) The deployment gap: what AI in robotics delivers today in production deployments and why performance rarely matches results found in the lab.
2) Where hardware sets the ceiling: How do we overcome AI reasoning constrained by sensing limits, latency, bandwidth, and the real‑time behavior of electro‑physical systems
3) Simulation, data, and the training loop: Simulation provides unprecedented acceleration for robotics but closing the sim‑to‑real gap remains a stubborn hurdle.
4) Platforms, ecosystems, and the “AI factory”: How do we bring an AI application from prototype to something that runs safely and reliably on real hardware.
Meet us in Odense: let’s talk robotics across the stack
If you’re attending NextGen Robotics LIVE, or part of the broader Odense ecosystem, our team would love to connect. At ADI, we’re focused on enabling robotics development end‑to‑end - from AI policy creation, perception, and simulation, through to real-world sensing, control, connectivity, power and safety architectures that enable real-world autonomy. Because the next leap in robotics won’t come from intelligence in isolation. It will come from intelligence that understands the real world, Physical Intelligence.
